There are different versions of the Tom Brady Pancakes out there. Some are too eggy and too packed with mystery-protein-powder for my liking. This version captures his initial intent, but using real ingredients that you have at home. It’s dairy-free and gluten-free. It allows you to have the Saturday morning pancake feast without ANY guilt at all. Your family will love these delicious pancakes!
Starting your day with gluten and dairy can immediately begin an inflammatory cycle. It can result in you having less energy and focus than you would like–regardless of whether or not you are “sensitive” to dairy or gluten. Both are inflammatory to the body to some degree, and it takes your body a lot of energy to digest them. By giving your body dairy-free and gluten-free, healthy, whole foods like oats and pecans and berries, you are allowing your body to focus on putting the nutrients to work, instead of figuring out how to protect your body against them.
Tom Brady pancakes are packed with so many healthy ingredients: gluten-free oats, nuts, fresh berries. They are really great topped with Forager Project unsweetened cashew yogurt (I’m a huge fan). Also pour on a bit of maple syrup.
