We at Little Green love salmon for it’s health benefits and for its taste. We’re always looking for new and delicious ways to prepare it. In comes Honey Mustard Salmon!
My husband–who is really not a cook–created this recipe. He’s gotten better about helping cook dinner lately. One day recently I was swamped with work and pulled salmon out of the freezer and said to him, “Can you cook this?” I told him preferred cooking method but nothing about flavoring. Honey Mustard Salmon was born. He really has a knack for flavor, that guy. I was thrilled and this recipe has been adored by Little Green cleansers ever since.
Salmon has exceptionally high levels of omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential for mental health (both depression and anxiety), are excellent for eye health, promotes brain health, reduces risk of heart disease, fights inflammation, lowers risk of autoimmune disease, and helps prevent Alzheimer’s. Salmon is considered the cleanest source of fish, with fewer heavy metals and pesticide residues. Wild Salmon is a fantastic source of protein, vitamin B12, potassium and selenium, as well as niacin and phosphorous. Many health experts believe that it is best to consume fish about twice per week for optimum health benefits.
