Peanut Butter + Jelly Acai Smoothie

Peanut Butter + Jelly Acai Smoothie

1 frozen acai packet
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
2-3 Tbsp. unsweetened peanut butter
1 tsp. agave nectar
1/2 cup (more if needed) unsweetened almond milk

Purée in a blender or vitamix until smooth and enjoy!


The Acai berry is famous in Brazilian culture as a high energy food. It is one of nature’s most concentrated sources of antioxidants (and has twice the amount of blueberries.) It has a low sugar content, is high in healthy monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, and has a large number of vitamins and minerals. Acai also contains plant sterols, which are linked to lowering cholesterol.
